Newly Appointed Senior Executives to Expand Expertise and Lead Innovator in Smart Cities Revolution
CIVIQ Smartscapes, the leading developer of intelligent, and ultra-connected smart communications infrastructure, applications and networks, announced today the appointment of three new senior executives; Ilan Rozenblat has joined as Chief Technology Officer and Sandra Baer and Hardik Bhatt have been elected to join CIVIQ's board of directors. The newly appointed roles will add unmatched experience and expertise in pioneering the future of urban infrastructure and developing breakthrough solutions that make cities smarter.
Rozenblat brings to CIVIQ a strong background in building complex, large-scale enterprise-class software-based systems both in the U.S. and abroad. Rozenblat led country-wide ICT projects as the Chief Technology Officer of a large system integrator in Israel. He managed carrier-grade telecom software products in the US, and built healthcare IT systems for international markets.

Also joining CIVIQ as executive board members are Sandra Baer and Hardik Bhatt. Baer is the former Senior Director for Alliances at the Smart Cities Council, and current President of Personal Cities, an organization dedicated to helping cities and companies collaborate to create innovative solutions to benefit people who work, live and visit cities. In her work with city leaders worldwide for over 20 years, she has been a champion of creative collaboration between the public and private sector to effect positive change through innovation. Current Secretary Designate, Department of Innovation & Technology and State CIO for Illinois, Hardik Bhatt is a recognized thought leader in the smart/connected cities and IoT/IoE space. His vast experience spans 40 cities across 19 countries and includes building new paradigms and driving transformation.
