Twenty Five Year Tech Veteran and Former CEO and Private Equity executive joins Smart Cities industry leader
CIVIQ Smartscapes, the industry leader in Smart Cities urban technology solutions, announced that Gerry Burns has joined the company as President effective February 20, 2017. Gerry brings over 25 years of diverse expertise in operations, technology, finance and sales, and has a strong track record in leading teams to profitable growth. Prior to CIVIQ, Gerry served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager at Columbia Tech, a privately held contract manufacturer and engineering services provider. Previously Gerry has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Data2Logistics, a leading global service provider to Fortune 1000 companies, and was the CEO of USRobotics, an industry pioneer in digital telecommunications technology. Gerry was also an M&A&O™ Vice President for Platinum Equity, a private equity firm which closed over 130 acquisitions that represent $30 billion in aggregate annual revenue at the time of acquisition.
