This week, CIVIQ Smartscapes will be showcasing our latest smartscaping solutions at Smart Cities Week at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, September 28 and 29.
Here's a run down of our activities at the event:
Live Demo: LinkNYC
LinkNYC is a first-of-its-kind communications network that will replace over 7,500 pay phones across the five boroughs with new structures called Links. Each Link will provide superfast, free public Wi-Fi, phone calls, device charging and a tablet for access to city services, maps and directions. Come and see the Link live in our booth.
Live Demo: On the Go TravelStation
On the Go Travel Station is an innovative, interactive digital communications tool that provides MTA New York City Transit subway customers with a wealth of valuable information at their finger-tips. Customers can obtain information about their complete trip, from service status to trip planning to information about nearby destinations, resulting in an unprecedented amount of information accessible inside the subway system. The interactive screen, which employs capacitive touch technology, is housed in a stainless steel kiosk located at subway station entrances, in mezzanines and on platforms in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens. Come and see the OTG in action in our booth.
The CIVIQ WayPoint
We’ll also be sharing information about our newest solution: the WayPoint – the next generation in citizen engagement.
Brad Gleeson, Chief Commercial Officer, CIVIQ Smartscapes, will be speaking at 2:45 in the Hub Theatre on Smartscaping Cities: How the advent of intelligent urban infrastructure networks will enable the true benefits of Smart Cities for citizens.
Join us at booth at #304. We look forward to seeing you there!
